Phew, I’ve got a moment to poke my head up and post on the blog….It’s been a fantastic summer here in the Comox Valley, hot and sunny, and although dry, it’s pretty nice to wake up to blue skies day after day. The new garden suffered a bit from the drought, but nothing was lost and I’m already expanding it for next year! Guests have come from all corners of the world and I’ve loved every minute of it, yes, even waking up early to make breakfast and dealing with loads of laundry! It’s been great sharing this place with appreciative and interesting guests.
Today though, in mid-September, the rains have come and thoughts turn to shorter days and winter holidays. This year, think about bringing your whole family to Ellerslie for three days and nights of amazing festive fun. Skiers, downhill and cross country, will want to spend their days at Mount Washington, others may want to participate in valley activities, and some may want to just curl up by the fire with a book or a deck of cards. Whatever your pleasure, Christmas at Ellerslie will be special.
Have a look at the menu and tell your friends. Three rooms, three breakfasts, three amazing dinners. Phone or email for more information and price.
